This Week’s New Heavy Metal Album Releases – 11/26/2013

by Mike Lawrence on November 25, 2013

This is a very solid week for releases.  Black Sabbath has released a live DVD from some of their shows on their 2013 tour in support of their new album 13.  Danish thrashers Artillery have also released their seventh studio album since their debut in 1985 and Wolves In The Throne Room have a new album of live material from their BBC sessions in 2011.  The biggest release of new material this week definitely comes from death metal masters Deicide with their eleventh album.  With lead singer Glen Benton being in the news recently due to some controversy with Deicide’s curreny tour, it will be interesting to see how good this album is.  Is it a bit lacking?  Is that why Benton is trying to make news?  We’ll see.
